The Jeddah EDITION

Arriving at The Jeddah EDITION, our first thought was that the hotel looked like a beautiful yacht docked beside the club. Surrounded by water, it felt perfectly at home within the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina.
Inside, soaring ceilings, sculptural modern orbs, art and abundant greenery gave us all the EDITION elements we have come to recognize—while still feeling completely unique to Saudi Arabia.
Our room was, quite simply, epic: a two-bedroom penthouse with private access to the pool. Not one bedroom, but two! The pool quickly became one of our favorite places to relax, helped considerably by some of the best frozen mocktails we have ever had. As Jeddah is alcohol-free, we fully embraced the mocktail life—and there were so many creative ones to try.
Breakfast was another highlight. The avocado toast and hash browns were genuinely among the best of our lives, which is not a statement we make lightly!
We also toured the Den, with its atmospheric design and wonderfully cheeky dog portraits lining the walls. Throughout the stay, we found thoughtful details rooted in Saudi culture, including the beautiful Divine Essence Duo: Ajwa dates from Al-Madinah served alongside Zam Zam water from Mecca. It was a meaningful welcome and a lovely expression of faith, vitality and local heritage.
But this visit represented something even bigger for our family: The Jeddah EDITION was our 20th EDITION—and the final chapter in the first volume of our passport.
Twenty hotels. Years of planning trips around jobs, school schedules, holidays and long weekends. Countless rooms, meals, adventures and passport stamps. Reaching this milestone in Jeddah felt surreal.
The perfect place to close Volume One—and definitely not the end of the story.
